First report from Panama

Arrived at the Panama airport an hour early only to find out Shrink was going to be 2 hours late because he made his plane turn around because they didn´t have Remy Martin on the plane.

Panama City is much bigger then I expected. High rises everywhere,restaraunts galore,busy roads,taxi cabs everywhere,tons of infrastructure. The building that the guys that Scotty and Marty live in is as nice as any huge suite I ever seen. I told them "it is like living in a suite in a casino" floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city on one side and the bay of Panama on the other 50 floors up. This place would cost 20 dimes a month to rent in NY.

Had dinner at Roberto Kelly´s restaraunt last night with one of the partners of betpanam and was very impressed by how knowledgeable he was about the industy. We discussed banking,gambling licenses,office setup,training of staff,even discussed some marketing strategies.

I was surprised to know he has been a reader of therx.com for years. It is just amazing how many of these guys(sportsbook owners) read the forums but do not post.

I am staying at a real nice place The El Panama Hotel which has a casino. Met the casino manager Glen Weaver last night and he gave me a tour of the place and I was impressed. Played a little craps with Shrink and we were both up a few dimes each until Scotty showed up and asked "how we were doing" Twenty minutes later I was borrowing of Shrink (Do you believe he tried to get me to pay him back 1100 for a dime?)The cocktail waitress last night was real hot and unbelievably asked me for my phone number after and hour. Now I realize why.. I was tipping her five dollars a pop and for five dollars you can feed a family of four dinner for a few nights. And I thought it was my Kangol...

Minimum Wage in the country is 259 per month.

Just kidding Scotty... We actually both won in the casino and the Shrink is a chips pocketer. Hiding chips so nobody knows what he has. He stumbled over his own feet on the way out the door because the chips that he had stuck in every cavity had him weighed down and off balance.
