Are they the Rodney Dangerfield of bases or what? Brazelton has been as tough as the Rays, and Cormier, first start in bigs? Still, just can't make Drays fave on road...Yet...OF

Am I missing something here?

not nearly enough pitching. not a contender. they always have a run, then they go back to their normal, bad selves.

CARIB shows the same odds - 1000 to 1 - for the Rays to win AL East.

If they can go 4-4 in next eight games, I'm dropping my first $10 and may follow that with a few more.

Beats the state Lotto like a drum.

Are you kidding me? This loser team makes it to the playoffs, how much value do you have? At that juncture, what would be the DRays No world series price? Lou is an awesome coach, always has teams well prepared. Playing as a team. I like that. Plus never say die like Yankees. There is a lot of season left, but last I checked it was them and Yankess playing the best ball. I already bought Yankees at 3-1. And Bosox at 6-1. DRays 100,000=1? What is the limit, and like DougJ said, limit of payoff. Drays probably still suck, will tank in 2nd half. But there is a slight possibility, they remain playing as they are now. How slim is that?...Best Wishes...OF

I bought a Tampa Bay futures bet at the beginning of the year for under 69 wins. I still feel comfortable with the wager. They were playing as bad baseball as I have seen earlier this year. They are beating up on some poor teams right now. No pitching, overrated offense.

OF; It's not 100,000 :1 , it's 1,000 : 1. I'd take that for $20, If I see it . I'd bet to win WS not AL East, too hard to finish ahead of NYY and Bosox, morelikely for a miracle 2nd place finish, and play-off wins.

Eff the Yankees and the Red Sox.

I'd put the current (past 30 games) TB right there with both. Only question is can they catch up, which requires head2head success of course.

Will Mussina and Brown return to form?

Probably.

Maybe.

Who knows...maybe NOT. And then you can take their billion dollar lineup versus our superior pitching (Rays should finish in Top 5 AL pitching this year).

Should be fun.

Plus moving the World Series trophy north from Miami would be no problem.

Doug

i thought the same damn thing. crazy as it sounds but the more achieveable miracle would be the WS, not the division. right on the money dougy.
