What is Shrink's official status @ The Rx?

Over the last couple days, The Shrink has been the originator (and target) of several accusations. As a result of these accusations, many people @ The Rx are confused and frustrated. The Offshore forum is on fire (one thread currently has 7800+ views).

I think a major source of confusion is The Shrink's ambiguous status @ The Rx. Even though The Shrink sold The Rx, he still maintains an extremely visible presence in the forums. In fact, some have joked that The Shrink is currently more visible than he was BEFORE selling the site! Does The Shrink still have an ownership stake in The Rx, or is he simply a "consultant"? How much influence does The Shrink have with regards to business decisions, advertisers, etc? How much control does The Shrink have over day-to-day operations? Does The Shrink get paid to post?

Because of The Shrink's murky status, it is sometimes difficult to determine the motivation behind some of his accusations. Is he blowing the whistle because he is trying to protect the players, or is he blowing the whistle because he is trying to protect his bank account?

Shrink, this isn't a personal attack, but I honestly think lots of people are puzzled. You are Dick Cheney, The Rx is Halliburton. Maybe some disclosure would reduce the confusion?

I apologize if this question has already been dealt with, but I've never seen any info.

I sold the site many months ago. I promised the new owners to stay on "indefinitely."

Although I have no official title, I do function much like a consultant...

I receive a fixed modest salary...

I don't get any extra money for advertising revenue and I usually don't get involved as this is what Marty does..

IMO, the Shrink is a vital part of this site. Given, he has done several moronic things in the view of the public. However, if you look at the big picture, the site is much better with him that without. People forget all of the good things he has done including being the first to break the Aces Gold story, etc. etc. I truly believe that the posters here are classic what have you done for me lately guys who accentuate the bad and forget the good. I know for a fact that he has shared winning info, and actually does look out for the gamblers more than for his own pocketbook. The problem with people is that they always forget good deeds, while never letting go of the negative. Perhaps if more people followed the Zen faith of Phil Jackson they wouldn't have so much hate and hostility. Look at the guy from Jersey who just got beheaded today. If that doesn't make one think that we should all lighten up a little, I don't know what will.

and I've got 8285 posts to my name and have been here forever..

I too would really like an rx t shirt shrink... I am running out of good clean rags in this house and I need to wash my kitchen floor and basement floor.

thank you kenny boy, but whatever you do, make sure you give me those t shirts in a closed box.. I don't want to carry them on me in the casino and have people see them. Can you imagine what the people will think of me carrying t shirts that say, "the rx, your source for the #1 gambling info" People will think i'm a nut.. They'll be scared of me..

I hope you don't mind if i never wear them kenny. I just CANNOT be seen wearing these t shirts in this city. Can you imagine if I wore this in front of people i know here. What would they think of me? I am wearing a gambling shirt. I don't think that would make me look good. How can anyone be seen in them? People will think I'm a degenerate wearing a gambling t shirt.
