I am a pretty disciplined gambler, but every now and again, I have a tough beat which gets me chasing a bit much. Can't really explain how it happens, but chasing never ever works. I'm sure there are others in this boat, how do you avoid the dreaded tilt.

For me, the best way to stay disciplined is to flat bet...i've never chased since switching to this 2 years ago..hard part is trying not to pound a game i like alot..but the upside is a prevents me from chasing...so far so good..

In all seriousness, if you feel the need to chase then you might have a problem - whether it be an addiction or losing more than you can afford to.

I have chased on occasion....lately just playing one or two games a day, sometimes none, if the numbers look correct....playing the same amount....if I win I win, if not, there's another day.....maybe this is discipline, maybe I'm just tired of watching the tide go in and out and in and out....

every once in a while I pound a game.....
