Well, after a long talk with my new friend Ken/SHRINK I told him what my agenda is, or plainspeak, why am I here. By now you all know my agenda, to remain consistently profitable. Well, what could a watchdog site like this do for me there. Take a good long look at SHRINK's post this morning. Probably his best since I have been here. No hidden messages or guessing games. It is spelled out in plain English. Being a FROG with many ponds, I have a lot of exposure. If one of my ponds starts to go dry, and my frogs dehydrate, shrivel up and die, am I remaining consistently profitable? What prompted me to start posting here, I do very little without some type of green motivation, was plain old protection. Like it or not, I need it. After my Royal experience that became crystal clear. All those bond/insurance programs are great, but they might cover one frog foot, maybe a toe. That is not good enough for me.
No one has such far reaching contacts as the RX staff. They are the insiders. I have some connections, but not the pull or leverage. I have not needed any assistance as of yet, knock on wood, but for my piece of mind, I now have it if need be. The FROG may come across as arrogant and conceded, but let me assure you, I am not stupid, nor will I allow my false pride to interfere with my prime directive. This is a business. I treat it as such.
Anything that I can contribute, I would not expect something for nothing, is my way of paying for my insurance. I do have some aspirations to be a contributing writer here someday. But that is mainly for accomplishment, not profit. Like me or hate me, I try to be straight up. I hope this clarifies what I am doing, and why I am here.
Obviously I suck bigtime at forum politics, and am trying to understand how this is so much different from the real world or the streets I am used to dealing with. It is up to me to adapt. SHRINK said I need to develope a thicker skin. I guess that is good. I still have an unrealistic expectation that everyone can work together, and not flame each other. That is not going to happen. But if I can adjust, I have a vast amount of experience in this Offshore arena. If I can add some coin to anyone's pocket all the better. Most sincere and best wishes...OF
