Warren Sapp smiled and worked every corner of the room, doing things most people aren't used to seeing him do. That is unless you've seen the NFL star interact at a charity event for children fighting cancer.

''We definitely know the other side of Warren Sapp. When he is around the kids, he's a different human being,'' said Barbara Rebold, executive director of the local Pediatric Cancer Foundation. ''Everybody else sees Mr. Hollywood because he's on when he's on TV. With the kids, he's just another guy.''

Warren Sapp of the Oakland Raiders interacts with students from Hiawassee Elementary School in the new Warren Sapp Computer Lab.

Sapp, the longtime Tampa Bay defensive tackle now with the Oakland Raiders, has raised more than $120,000 to fund pediatric cancer research the past two years.

This is 100% fake!!

The guy is a 100% jerk!!

Ask anybody that lives in Tampa.

He treats kids like crap in public, as well as everyone else.

I would say about 78% of the people in Tampa have something bad to say about Warren because of something they seen firsthand about him in public when NO camaras were around.

Fish,
I agree. Have a friend who worked for the Bucs who said nothing but great things about "Mr" Brooks, but said Sapp was a world-class jerk.

Also, that piece done on HBO Real Sports on Derrick Brooks and his foundation was one of the great journalistic pieces of all-time. Those who have seen it (and if you haven't you should), have to agree that Derrick is one of those athletes you wish was a role model for your children.

I could tell stories about Sapp and what an *ss he is until 12:00 Midnight. The bad outnumbers the good 10-1 with this *ack*ss.

A year ago Sapp was at a Miami Heat game when a sideline reporter was about to interview him in his seat. The camera went to the reporter and then suddenly to another part of the arena. "Apparently Warren does'nt want to be interviewed". The interview would of lasted no more than 30 seconds.

The guy can be a jerk, but he is still one unbelievable athlete who still has a couple solid years left. Remember.......just cause the sacks weren't there dosen't mean he wasn't a factor. This guy was double and sometimes triple~teamed on every play, therefore opening it up for Simeon Rice, etc. Did anyone besides myself see the Lineman's competition when Sapp was a rookie and he went in there and made solid veterans at the time like John Randle & others look foolish?
