Let's be honest, they played good ball, great defense, and won the championship, but they are far from a dynasty....they seemed to be destined to win this year...

They matched up against the Nets, with Jason Kidd barely 50%, and went 7 games, they matched up against the Pacers, and when the series was tied 2-2, Oneal injures his knee for the Pacers and is never the same, then they meet the Lakers in the finals, and Malone is hurt, Fischer is hurt....

Not saying they didnt deserve to win, they won it, so they DESERVED IT, but it just seems everything went THEIR WAY....

The way the Lakers performed int he Finals, i would much rather have seen Detroit match up against Minnesota, or Sacramento, think they would have given them a much better series....

Amazing how the Lakers were able to win in Minnesota, yet couldnt even compete in Detroit....very weird....

Kareem Rush makes 6 3 pointers in a game to beat the Twolves single handedly, but did he even make 6 3 pointers in the entire NBA finals?

Very weird to say the least...

But one fact remains, the Pistons have the trophy, so they WERE THE BEST TEAM....

surprised no one else had an opinion about this?

do you feel they just got "the breaks"?

or were they the most talented team?

. . the NBA is like any other sport: you need to be talented and healthy to win, the pistons were both of those things

Yeah, a dynasty is a stretch...They wont get EVERY break each year...

It might be them with an injury to Rip Hamilton in the playoffs next year, and it will be all different...

And what if the queen had balls? Every team in the league is vulnerable to losing their best player. I do agree with you General I think Indiana has a brite future too. I just think The Pistons are a bit deeper
