Royal Sports - Slow Pay..... Resolved

I've been a customer of Royal Sports since 1998 and never had any problems. Now I am on the 4th week of a payout request. They took the money out of my account when I requested it, but still don't have a tracking number for me. The money still has not been sent my way. This is not acceptible. A long time Royal customer and I get treated like this.
Every time I call I get the run around. "The check hasn't went out yet, we are still waiting on the bank to provide us with your tracking number." Today I just about had it and started to really show my displeasure. Then, finally, Kenneth(said to be in charge of payouts) got on the phone. He told me to call back at 4:30pm. The last time I spoke to Kenneth was was on the 13th and he said "I hope to have your tracking number by the 18th." I was promised by others several times before that it would be soon.
When I originally requested the payout, on April 29th, I was told it would take "up to seven business days." Now it's May 24th and the check still hasn't went out.
From here on out I will post what is going on with my current payout and future payouts with Royal.
I am very upset with Royal's slooooooow(no pay) payout and the runaround I have received.

This is not the first complaint I have heard about recieving a CHECK from ROYAL.

They seem to be having some banking issues in regards to having checks sent out.

To be honest with you, I may opt to have the money sent via W.U. or Neteller before I would request a check from them if this process continues to take this long.

I sincerely hope ROYAL clears this mess up soon with their check releases.

I played that game 3 or 4 times...Then I got jerked around when I left, even worse. Only thing ggod that came of it was when I finally received my CC for the 2 frogs I originally put in, I went out and bought a nice 46" Plasma when Gateway stores closed, a nice BOSE 123 gs home entertainment system, to go with it, a trailer for one of my fishing boats and some nightcrawlers and redworms. Tried to make the best at a frustrating situation. And you could not get an easier going customer than me. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But after being jacked time after time, no more Mr. Nice Guy, my time is freakin important. And I really do not like my money being held hostage. You should not have to sweat the payout...OF

Thanks for the response Fish. Yes, I have noticed they have been having slow pay issues. One of the reasons I'm moving funds out of there. They told me that neteller took even longer and I'm not willing to pay western union fees on 10k.

Frog-Thanks for the response. I read your story in another players post recently that was having the same problems. It gets a bit frustrating when the merry go round doesn't stop.

Like I previously stated, they used to be autopay on Neteller. Then all of a sudden, Neteller is dry, you must contact Royal customer service. In this business, you better have your payout money readily available, and be able to move it fast. I had more problems with Royal, then all of the rest of my ponds put together. I never raised my voice, and just voiced my dissappointment. Talk about an unfriendly frog pond, they should change their name from Royal to Commoner. Maybe Royal pain to get paid. Still gets me riled even thinking about it. AHHHHHHHHH! OF

The Major says he can get anyone paid quick. You might want to contact him.

Personally, the fact that you have to have an inside connection to get paid is SAD.

At least the Rx mods, to their credit, are not playing any games or working a coverup. major claims Royal is not a slow pay and that's sad.

Yes, the Rx mods, major, SBR, maybe roberto & others can make some noise and shorten the wait but its still sad when a book can not or simply refuses to pay in a timely manner.

Thanks for the replies guys. General I will e-mail him now thanks. When I spoke with Kenneth yesterday he told me 100% sure I would have my tracking number by Wed. I'll keep updating here.

Being on the island i know it takes a long time to get the checks process, but there is no excuse for it to take that long. I would say 7 working days max.

My opinion on this matter:

The Rx is supposed to stand for integrity, right? So when there is a slow pay claim, the Rx should take a couple of days to investigate and then make a decision: is the claim valid, yes or no?

If yes, then the book in question should have its advertising blacked out until the situation is resolved. This would show that the Rx is serious about promoting fair bookmaking.

Amen Brother...

But in all fairness the threads are present, and as I stated before, there are more slow pay posts about Royal, then all the rest of the books put together. I think they have literally set themselves on fire, losing customers and your reputation at the same time. Are these guys solidly backed, if so, why all the slow pays? They could advertise all they want here, but if Homer Newbie starts a thread, what do you guys think about Royal? Get out the napalm. Bad part is, used to be one of the best...OF
