Way I'll play the game tonight

I will openly question if the Lakers have the heart should they fall behind by double digits at any time in the game. If they stay close I could see them putting up a good battle, but if things start going against them even a little bit I could easily see them fold up like a tent and be glad the misery is over. With that in mind I am taking the Pistons on the alternate line, -7.5 +198 at Pinny.

If you are giving away money, send it my way!

But seriously, I think the Lakers win it outright tonight. (still lose the series though)

I like the strategy - Lakers win outright you save juice, Pistons get lead late desparate Lakers likely to foul. Also the possibility of Piston blowout.

wildbill,
glad to see someone that is playing what I took. This is a game that will be decided by a few shots or missed shots..IMO. The Lakers are defeated in their own minds, and for Kobe to come out and say "we will win on Tuesday" doesn't do them any good. Go pistons....

If the Lakers don't turn it up a few notches on defense, your blow out is a definate possibility. They have to much at stake not to turn it up (IMO).

I think I seen that Kobe has guaranteed a win. Good enough for me.

I'd play Lakers ML and I'd be looking for chances to hedge my bet in the 2nd half. But 7.5 pts are too many to give away.

Besides, Chucky jinxed this shit already:

If the Lakers give up like they did the other night, laying 7.5 will be an easy winner...

have to admit I was skeptical when I read this, but obviously this was a good call (wether you win it or not)...

Only thing I am bummed about is those losers didn't get the indignity of the sweep they so deserved. Hopefully we don't have to hear from their fans for years and the legitimate Laker fans that live in LA, all 500 of them, can once again get good tickets to the games soon.

As to the rest of the bandwagon jumping "of course I am a Lakers fan" crowd

The game was so lopsided that Lakers owner Jerry Buss headed for the exit before the third quarter was over. By the time the last timeout rolled around, fans were already being urged to keep their celebrations under control

Looks like Jerry was more than disgusted.

Wild Bill, "With that in mind I am taking the Pistons on the alternate line, -7.5 +198 at Pinny."

Chuck Sims, "I like the strategy WildBill. The Lakers are finished."

Mr.Smith, "Lakers have no chance in hell to win tonight."
