Malone, on one leg, played better defense than any other Laker, IMO.

Lakers sucked, but they were assisted in losing by pistons foul shots. Pistons won this so easily due to the number of times the refs put them on the line. The numbers per game are lopsided. At one point in the FIRST half, nearly half of detroits points were freethrows, where the lakers who came out attacking the basket with energy had two freethrows. I would like to see the series without this inequity, same result, but closer games at least.
