You need to drink lots of water. Common side-effect of creatine is cramping. But if you drink enough water, you should be able to avoid the cramping.

But everybody reacts differently. I'd drink 2 gallons of water per day, but I still got massive shin-cramps when I jogged. I'd jog for 2-3 minutes, and then it just became too painful.

Also, some people have stomach/digestive problems. One of my friends was puking blood because of creatine.

Just use common sense. Lots of people use creatine without any problems. If you're having bad side-effects, then quit. But it is worth a try, creatine is one of the best legal muscle-building supplements.

I had very good results, went from a max bench press of 350 lbs to a max of 400 lbs (weighing 200ish) which shocked me...

After that I tried it again (this time in a powder form) and my hands and arms were becoming NUMB...painfully numb, I stopped and never tried it again....It got to the point I could not sit or lay parallel or my hands and arms would hurt, I`d have to hold my arms down to get blood flowing it was awful...after about a week of this I figured it had to be the creatine, I stopped taking it and the feeling went away...

I wouldn`t use it again

Numbness after you lifted, or numbness all the time?

I definitely noticed numbness and swelling after I lifted. I'd jump in the shower, and it was difficult to shampoo my hair. Couldn't bend my arms very much because of the swelling.

But creatine draws water into the muscles, so numbness and swelling is "normal".
