When Olympic had the Pistons at 16-1 during the regular season I absolutely loved them. Unfortunately I was on such a bad run I had no money left to wager on them. Now I am rooting for them to lose even though they are my favorite team just to make myself feel better. Really kind of sad when you think about it.
Never, I happened to put 2 dollars on those same odds for the value. The only pro team I can say is definately my favorite team is the Reds. If Cincy pulled a great year out their azz NOTHING could make me pull against them. I might even bet the other team to ensure I would be happy, but never root against them.
Sherman, I can assure you that they are my favorite team. It simply boils down to me feeling better that the Pistons lost than missing out on an opportunity to make some money on a bet that I really liked. I am certain most gamblers probably feel the same way. Maybe I am wrong but I feel most gamblers given the choice of winning money or having their favorite team lose would choose the money every time. Maybe I am way off on this one.
Delmo, that being the case your first order of buisness is to bulk up your bankroll. No chance without one and you will seldom miss a bet with it spread around. A few years for me betting out of my pocket and a posting forum long ago convinced my to put 10 dimes together and although I don't advise 3 grr on plastic like I did, but I never looked back...GL2U
I know of more than a few times I was feeling about the same things as delmo.....days when I got home too late to bet on a game, so I hoped that my pick lost just to make me feel better, cuz if that pick won then I'd be thinking about how much more I'd have in the account.....
I'm sure this scenario has come up for most of the posters here...in one form or another, whether you can't bet it because of lack of funds, or too late.....
