If you play at sportsbook.com and you are awarded a bonus, play at your own risk!

They are using a bogus rule to take away my bonus money. Apparently when you receive a bonus all bets that are hand written do not qualify towards wager requirements.

This rule should be clearly written into the terms and conditions, if they choose to go about this route but its not and to make things worst they only inform you of this after you requested a withdrawal and have taken the bonus back.

This was the email I received from sportsbook.com justifying there decision.

quote:
This is a note to inform you that customers of Internet Opportunity Entertainment Ltd. are eligible to receive free bonuses from time to time, including a free bonus when signing up and for referrals. Said free bonuses, as to it's amount and issuance, shall be subject to the discretion of Internet Opportunity Entertainment Ltd., and shall be non-transferable and non-refundable.

If you have any further questions regarding this matter please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards,
Chris

Sincerely,
The Sportsbook.com Team

ive played there for several months now...rolled over my bonus money the required amount and requested several withdrawals....never had any problems. always paid on time. moved to pinny for bases b/c of the reduced vig and more "generous" lines....will probably still play with them for foots.

They are a pain but worth the pain if you play a lot of summer sports like golf, nascar, tennis, ect.

Just know before hand that the customer service is below average and payouts are problematic.

How can any book be worth the pain if payouts are problematic? How are they problematic? Is it from slow pays, no pays, etc...?

Mr. Box,

Something doesn't make sense to me. As soon as you go to the deposit/withdrawal screen it telles you your current balance and your balance available for withdrawal (whihc equals your available balance - unearned bonuses) As soon as you saw that their system did not recognize you as having earned your bonus, why did you request a withdrawal. You should have asked first before withdrawing. A few months ago, before thier automated system was up, I could have have understood your complaint, but right now it just doesn't make sense to me.

Sportsbook.com is a joke, IMHO. Yeah, they may be huge, but the customer service and accounting departments are honestly borderline incompetent. I've had EFT payouts take over 30 days (while being flat-out lied to regarding the status of the transfers), I've been double and triple billed on some credit card deposits...I could go on.

Suffice it to say I no longer play there and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The complaint is, all bets that are hand written do not count towards playing requirements, nowhere is that stated in there terms. To make things worst they just removed the bonus from my cashin with out notifying me at all.

Thegreek.com, bodog.com and any other quality sportsbook wouldn't of acted in such a manner.

I've had very good experiences with sportsbook.com. They gave me a 10% bonus, with only 2 x rollover. And I got several payouts from them. I've heard of problems with EFT's, but just take a FedEx check. They pay the fees, and it's at your door in two days. I am not currently playing there, and with so many books to try out, I probably won't reload there for awhile. But I probably will down the road.

Seems they do alot of investigating upon payment requests often. This is good, but at the same time a pain to the player. Maybe the accounting dept is a little under staffed.

Since they implemented a better accounting system the w/d speeds have improved. NETeller is paid out in two days now for me, no problem (just like all the other Sportingbet PLC books: Sportingbetusa/Linesmaker).

I agree with all those statements mike, how does your statement contradict mine? You're talking FEDEX, I'm talking NETeller----and I don't remember mentioning the customer svce (which I have previosuly mentioned several times is one of the worst in this industry---I've even said that on this board). But, the NETeller w/ds at all three books ALL take 2 days to process----no one book is faster than the other in this area (as long as you're not "under investigation" LOL).
