As a nation mourns the passing of its 40th President, those favored few who have prospered from Nevada’s sports betting industry ought to raise their voices in a hymn of thanks. If not for Ronald Reagan, sports betting in Nevada would be far less vibrant.

Yes the current US president could usefully spend a lot of time studying Reagan's approach to pretty much everything except Savings & Loans.

For a start, his foreign policy was dodgy at times but at least he had the flexibility to make a deal with the Russians when the time was right.

I also can't imagine Reagan following the current line on internet betting. He enjoyed life too much to spend a lot of time in the company of bible bashers.
