If you have not seen this, a great table to watch. TJ, Phil, Sam, etc.

Chad Norman is the worst announcer ever, very annoying.

They have been airing a marathon today (all 7 episodes). ESPN has been guilty of overkill by constantly re-running the 2003 coverage. Unless of course Sam Farha somehow calls the Moneyman on that 2nd last hand this time around.

Wil, I agree on the overkill. Still this was a fun table to watch. Grizzle gets Helmuth going early...Lots of talking.

It is NORMAN CHAD not Chad Norman.

You know what I dont like about the coverage?

Well Norman will practically cuss someone out for not calling when he has the winning hand. A pair of jacks is not that good and keep in mind that they dub the announcements after the tournament is over. He will say, he is folding and he has the winning hand!!!! Well of course YOU KNOW he has the winning hand, but in fact it might not be a great hand to stay with.

Helmuth, "I'm a hold 'em champion."

Grizzle, "Maybe you're just a goof ball who catches cards."

i watched this today. . .moneymaker is not as dumb as everyone says, sometimes having a great hand and waiting for after the turn to make his big raise to get more chips out of opponents

Rob - no doubt Moneymaker is far from being dumb. However I would like to see him and this years winner Greg "Fossil Man" Raymer go heads up in a winner take all Texas Hold-em game. My money would have to be on the understated Raymer, this years surprize winner of the WSOP. He can really play.

Just something that ran across my sick and demented mind as I was watching today........

What would happen if a couple a guys got pissed at each other and they throw some punches and the table ends up on its side with chips everywhere????

Besides getting booted and banned, would be kinda comical. Say Grizzle cant take anymore of Helmuth's mouth

This year will ESPN will have production enhancements With added production techniques, technology and 22 cameras, ESPN viewers will experience the event from above, around and inside the table. A specially constructed final table used throughout ESPN's coverage incorporates nine "pocket cams" in the table's rail to show viewers the players' cards. Also, a "rabbit cam" under the table next to the dealer will show viewers the card that would have been dealt next should a player fold. Two "robo cams" and two lipstick cameras hovering over the table will provide a wide lens view as will a lipstick visor cam on the dealer's head. ESPN's coverage will include features on the tournament's top players. I believe the same announcers will return.
