not necessarily, with the line dropping, that indicates Detroit money. Maybe after Smarty, the public went for the dog and under, which was also bet down.

The line opened around 8.5 and 172. It closed around 7.5 and 169.5. Looks like bettors won both.

Big Money was on DETROIT, as the line did drop to 7 1/2 at most places with a 7 at Millenium of all sports books...
