You don't even have to touch Shaq many times, just be in his way and when he runs you over they call the foul on the defender. It is totally a joke, the biggest difference between Shaq's game now and when he was with the Magic is that the refs let him get away with murder. I always laugh when he complains about the refs, talk about being a hypocrite. Lowering your shoulder into a player is a foul. Someone tell me he doesn't do that move at least 5 times a game.

As discussed before, the problem with Shaq is that the rule-book simply can't accomodate his size and strength.

Name one decent post-player who doesn't use his body to create space in the paint. Every player is gonna push with his legs, hips, back, shoulders, elbows, etc.

However, when Shaq tries to create space, it is extremely obvious.

Reminds of a flagrant foul that was called on Shaq. It was against the Spurs, 4-5 years ago. I think Avery Johnson was driving baseline to the basket, Shaq jumped up and bumped Avery with his hip. Of course, Avery flies in the air for several feet and lands hard. Flagrant foul on Shaq. But it was simply a solid foul. If Derek Fisher had done the same thing to Avery, it wouldn't have been an issue.

I would accept some non-calls in those spots, but Shaq gets tons of those continuation baskets when he initiates the contact and knocks someone down. How many times do defenders get called for fouls when they were merely in his way. I can remember many times that they called fouls this year when a defender just stood his ground and put his hands straight up, yet they are somehow guilty of fouls. Those are what I find ridiculous.
