I'd like to track this for the rest of the season BUT I need your help. When your guy pitches leave the pinny lines before the start of their game. A.J. Burnett makes his long-awaited return for the Florida Marlins as they open a four-game series with the New York Mets at Shea Stadium.
Burnett last pitched in the majors on April 25, 2003. He had elbow ligament replacement surgery four days later. Burnett may be a go against will have to see how he fares tonight.

As far as the list goes I don't see anyone mentioned starting today, will have to check tomorrow and see how the list fares.

How did Ponson make the list????

He's not exactly a cat in the bag anymore after his last two shellings.

Same thing with Contreras - fading a 7+ ERA isn't exactly insiteful.

Sad as I am to say it, Johan Santana of Twins fame has gotten inflated and his pitching is awful lately. There is talk he might need surgery before the season is out.

contreras is a good fade op IMO because no matter what people will bet the yankees

even if they put BKKims grandmother out there to pitch in here komono the yanks would still be favored by at least -200

Kenny Rogers lit up for 4 homers and 5 runs in 4 innings Vs. Yanks. Problem is Kevin Brown knocked around for 4 runs including 3 run shot by Alphonso Soriano. Yanks 5-4 end of 4th.

Just a FYI for anyone looking to fade Contreras:

NEW YORK (AP) The New York Yankees will skip Jose Contreras' turn in the rotation, giving the erratic right-hander a chance to work out flaws in his pitching motion.

Yankees manager Joe Torre said pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre spotted the problem in Contreras' delivery. Instead of pitching Tuesday against Colorado, Contreras will get three bullpen sessions before starting against San Diego on June 12. Monday's off day means the Yankees can pass him over and keep their other four starters on regular rest.

Contreras got just two outs Wednesday against Baltimore, allowing five runs. Torre said the right-hander's right shoulder was flying out, and that after reviewing video, Stottlemyre determined ''it was glaring.''
