Can Rock Hard 10 bridge the gap and show some more early foot? Allowing the favorite to go out alone will spell disaster for those trying to beat the chalk here. All I know from experience is that at 2-5, there are a multitude of things that can go wrong. Hence, I am going to try to beat him with Rock Hard 10. Will I win? Probably not. However, 2-5 doesn't buy a nice dinner. Good luck to all!!!
he can get beat fro sure. Im very worried about the 1 1/2. That is like having to run hard downo two Churchill Downs strecthes not just one. A horse with this many starts this year on a new surface he has not been on before. I really hope he gets it but I see value playing against him. I think he either wins or finishes 4th or worse. I dont think just one horse is going to step up and beat Smarty at his best. Either Smarty does not have a good day and hes off the board or he wins by 5 lenghts.
If this horse wins he better retire cause there are other horses who can beat this horse!Its just this crop hes racing against are only a decent crop! If he wins this triple crown he can't be compared to the past great ones cause there is no real threat here! These horses are mediocre at best! Break the track record or come close a few times than I'll say hes one of the greatest! Never racing on this surface I look for this surface to eat him up!
