Smarty Jones makes a run for the Triple Crown and the Calgary Flames can claim the Stanly Cup. 8 weeks ago people would have said you were crazy if someone predicted both possibilities by a couple of very determined underdogs. I for one can't wait for the race then the hockey game.

I wouldnt call it a big day for US sports except for the Horse Race.

Face it hardly anyone in the US gives a damn about Hockey anymore. MAYBE 2% of the US will watch the game

Mark Grieb threw four touchdown passes as the San Jose SaberCats held off a furious late rally by the Tampa Bay Storm to win an AFL Quarterfinals playoff matchup, 56-52, at HP Pavillion in San Jose, Calif. At one point in the third quarter the SaberCats were up 42-12 before the Storm started their comeback.
