This has been a very good hockey game. I don't pay any attention to what the ratings for each game have been or the talk about how no one cares about this matchup.

If you're a hockey fan (and I am), you're watching. If you're not a hockey fan, you're doing something else. It's that simple.

Your right Fishead. I am not watching. In fact i have not watched 1 period of hockey this year. Last year when the Wild made their postseason run i did watch. This year they didnt even make the playoffs. It would be the only way that i would even think of it. I love the Big 3 Football, Baseball and Basketball, after that i ocassionally will watch the Golf majors and i will watch the U.S Open of Tennis. I absolutly love Football most of all . I hold nothing against anyone who watchs Hockey, it just doesnt interest me. Sorry.....I guess i am missing something.

I always thought it was 10,000 lakes and 5,000 fish.

Pete: I can honestly answer your question with a resounding NO! In fact i have never watched 1 period on WNBA in its entire history. Sorry guys, but sometimes enough is enough......I cant possibly watch every single sport. Thats the way it is. Tell me something that will change my mind about the way i feel about hockey. Hell my brothers played H.S. hockey here in Minnesota and i loved it. The only reason i did though was because it was brotherly love supporting them. I did really enjoy it, but the NHL is just too.............??????????????????.............?????????? I dont know. I just dont care for it. Thats all.

Unless the Flyers are playing (hometown team) I just can't watch NHL no matter how hard I try. I grew up loving all the major sports but in the last decade have grown away from baseball and hockey. I can watch any NFL game and be entertained although the many commercials are annoying. I can still watch some NBA even if it's not a favorite team although it is getting tougher and tougher to watch. Baseball needs a super pitching matchup to get my two watch non-home teams these days. Hockey, I can't even watch the Flyers anymore except playoffs. Regular season is basically meaningless, dilution of talent coupled with constant obstruction minimzing the effect of the few talented players per team makes it extremely boring.

You know after some time you just have to say whatever to the people who just don't like hockey. I never bother argue with them, I just go and enjoy the games. This has been some compelling stuff and tonight's game was everything you wish all sports would be. Game 5 with so much at stake and it ends on one shot. How much more could you ask for? If people can't get into this then just let them be is what I say. Those that like hockey must love this series. I have to say I am still disappointed my Sharks couldn't make it, but still hard to not like the action or either of these teams. If it is a team like Dallas or Detroit then it is easy to just hate them and root for the other team, but these two teams play great hockey and hard to not like either.
