Like a prisoner or lawyer going off on the judge or vice versa or actual violence in court?

Thanks

Feel free to share your contempt issue Dante. The time they were going to jail you for failing to do your community service by sacking potatoes correctly and you told the Judge he was a "bad man?"

You would think being its my birthday, you could have waited a few weeks to bring this topic up.

You just have to stir up bad memories dont you Marine!

i was called for jury duty last year,it was a murder case, they called people to the jury box and asked them a few questions and if the prosecution or defense did not object then you were picked, they called my name,i went up to the box,the judge said "what do you do for a living?" i said"i make a living betting horses and sports" the whole courtroom erupted in laughter, the judge said"you're excused"

The same thing happened to me.

I said "I can tell a man is guilty by the look in his eye."

EXCUSED ...

i served on a jury for a 3-day trial. one of the jurors was one of the most beautiful women i had ever seen - she was everything i look for and like in a woman. we spoke every so often during the trial mostly outdoors when the court needed to put us outside so they could discuss something outside our presence.

after the trial was over, i asked her out and she accepted. we dated for a little while and i can say without any hesitation at all sex with her was the best i have ever had and it's not even close (ok - so it was the only time - but still

May I ask why? I do not believe many legal professionals (myself included) or clients would care to incite jollies to the masses by disseminating such incidents of the few. Furthermore, there is a little thing called Attorney/client privilege that goes beyond the scope of conversation, but also discussing courtroom events as well. A court transcript is public record, however no attorney is going to discuss a case just for mere laughs, and risk the confidentially of his or her practice and clients.

I would most certainly not want to interfere with Attorney/client here.

I've only been in a courtroom once. The Ex lied so much and the judge was all over it. She says "Judge, can I ask for something?"

Judge replies "You may ask for anything in the world, but that does not mean you will get anything"

I represented myself and she had an attorney. Her lies left her helpless.

Had to go to trial one day for a ****ing joint that some ass was puffing in a known hot zone for cops and I come strolling out of the bar and the cops pull up at just the perfect moment. Dicksmack throws his joint and stash down when the feds pulled up and one of the pigs promptly walks over to the reffer and picks it up and tells ME that I'M "UNDER ARREST". For what I retort, he held up the joint then I split like na bolt of lightning. His lazy pertner tried but failed in the chase.
Anyway they caught up with a few hours later as I was walking home in hope that they would have just gone and had a circle jerk somewhere.

My old man catches wind of this a week or so later and he asks who do I have representing me. I had not pu too much thought into it so off to Canada's capital we go and hire some big shit for $4000.
I though of how many games I need to cover that one.
So off to trial we go and when this cat walked in to the court room it was like he was a ****ing SuperStar to the judge, cops and crown.
Needless to say less than 5 minutes I was free of any rong doing and NO criminal record.
The cop that initiated the bullshit charge was immediately reassined to Thunder Bay
Bye Bye asshole

My ex is a Judicial assistant... She's the one sitting next to the Judge in the courtroom. She told me the amount of money BET on the outcome of some of her trials is ridiculous. Bailiffs are usually the bookies in the courtroom and set the odds. Clerks and lawyers are the main participants. If the case is high profile, a lottery is usually done for in-courtroom seatting, the winners usually sell their seats to the highest bidder. Next time you see people scream in agony or joy at the reading of a verdict, it might have more to do with money won or lost than with justice.
