As expected, the Rams released quarterback Kurt Warner on Tuesday. The two-time MVP led the franchise to the Super Bowl in 1999 and 2001, but he started only one game in 2003. "I think there's a lot of mixed emotions," agent Mark Bartelstein told the Associated Press. "He's had so much success and such a great relationship with everyone in St. Louis. It's an unbelievable chapter in his life and an unbelievable chapter in the NFL. To leave that, I think, is hard, but he's in the prime of his career." Bartelstein noted that four or five teams are in the running to sign Warner. "In June you're never going to find a place where someone says 'Our quarterback situation is wide open,'" Bartelstein added. "I also know if Kurt goes and plays the way he's capable of playing, and he helps the team win and win big it doesn't really matter who's waiting in the wings."

Kurt Warner’s Wife

Posted on 07 December 2009

Kurtis Eugene, known as Kurt Warner was the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. In 1994 Green Bay Packers signed him as an undraft free agent. He born on June 22, 1971 and completed his graduation from Regis High School in Cedar Rapids.
When he was in college he met his future wife Brenda Carney. In 1997 when they wed Brenda was a divorced with two children and had recently lost her parents in 1996 when their Arkansas home was destroyed by a tornado. After marriage Warner adopted Brenda’s children officially. Both of them are active Christians. According to those who know the couple these two are “Real Ideal”.
Brenda born on June 17, 1967 in Parkersburg. Her whole family became Christians when she was 12 years old. In the age of 18 she met her first husband when she was in military. Brenda’s marriage lasted for four years then she came back to her parents with two children. She says,
“The Christian thing didn’t stop me from going through tough times, but I had that faith to hold me up when things were really bad.”
Brenda told Kurt about her first marriage and children when they met and told him there likely was no future for them. She said,
“I was divorced with two kids and if I never see you, I understand. But the next morning, he shows up at my door.”
Kurt is very happy and satisfied with her Brenda, he says,
“None of this feels as good unless you can share it with someone. I get to share it with my best friend and the person I’m in love with, and that happens to be my wife,We have done this together . . . and I wouldn’t do it with anyone else.”
