Camden Yards started the trend of the 'oldtime' style ballpark...from a television view point, San Francisco, San Diego and Philadelphia look really different...has anyone been to a few of these paks?

Which 'old' new park is tops?

list of all the new ones with the old look;

Baltimore
Detroit
Cleveland
Chicago
Seattle
Texas
Pittsburgh
Philadelphia
Milwaukee
San Diego
San Francisco
Arizona
Houston

Yankee Stadium is like no other, the feel you get just being there..

The sightlines in the upperdeck down the baselines is somehwat obstructed...

You`re right on the field if your in the box seats...

I also like Pittsburgh`s new look on T.V. with the river and bridge in view , cool look!

I flew down to Raymond James last fall to see the Bucs and Pack...outstanding better than Gillete but both are outstanding.

Worst has to be Shea...also old Foxboro stadium too.

Petco is great unless you are sitting down the LF field - near the pole. if you sit there - be forewarned - those seats are obstructed view. i should know - i sat there and hated it

agree with patriot on foxboro. i went to a game there the last sunday in october, 91. broncos played the pats. there were no more than 40k in the stands. game came down to the last play of the game. i worked for a radio station and had to spend time there to get some sound. i left 90 minutes-ish after the game ended - and it STILL took me over an hour to get out of the lot and i might still be there if i didn't take the law into my own hands a few times and did some highly illegal things.

San Francisco, absolutely stunning, no matter if you're outside looking up or where you're sitting, holy freaking cow. Even if the game sucks, just stare at the ocean.....

i can only comment on the one ballpark ive been in personally....Ameriquest Field in Arlington (formerly Ballpark in Arlington)

great place to watch a ballgame and the ballpark usually produces exciting, high scoring, home run filled games.....

Comerica Park in Detroit is a disgrace. The field was built backward, so the sun is in the batters eyes during the day. Also, there is absolutly no covering for the fans, so they cook during the day and have no protection if it rains.

In addition, the stands are not steep, so if you have someone sitting in front of you that is more than 6-feet tall, you can't see a thing (which, considering how the Tigers play sometime, is not a bad thing).

I have been to Miller Park in Milwaukee.

Great stadium but horrible team to watch last year. A little better now.

I love Petco Park, love how they incorporate the warehouse into the park. Pittsburgh, SF and Seattle are up there too. The only one of the bunch I have been to is Cell-One Chicago. It is nicer than given credit for.
