GUYS I JUST BOUGHT A HORSE (PLEASE READ)

OKAY WELL I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE HARNESS GAME FOR A LONG TIME, BUT I GOT BACK IN LAST WEEK. I HAD A FRIEND AT HARRINGTON WHO TOLD ME THIS HORSE WAS FOR SALE ON MONDAY. WELL HE FINISHED LAST IN THE RACE, BUT I CAN SEE HE DID NOT LIKE THE HALF MILE TRACK AT HARRINGTON. THIS HORSE HAS TONS OF SPEED. I HAVE BEEN DOING REAL GOOD ON GAMBLING RECENTLY, AND WELL, I DECIDED TO BUY THIS HORSE. PLUS JOE HOLLOWAY HAS BEEN A REAL GOOD FRIEND OF MINE, AND HE GAVE ME HIS OKAY ON THIS HORSE. JOE HOLLAWAY FARM IS LIKE 10 MIN AWAY FROM MY SUMMER HOUSE IN NJ.

HE IS RACING AT THE MEADOWLANDS THIS SATURDAY. I EXPECT A GOOD RACE, BUT I WILL HAPPY WITH JUST A GOOD START. THIS IS HIS FIRST RACE WITH HOLLAWAY, AND I EXPECT HIM TO IMPROVE EVERY RACE. THE HORSE IS 4 YEAR OLDS, AND I PAID $40,000 FOR HIM CASH AFTER HIS LAST START AT HARRINGTON

1 Mr Chairman His one start here saw him as no threat. Recent efforts haven't inspired confidence. Not easy to like in this difficult spot tonight.
2 Goldstar Pitcher Offered a brief and weak bid when moved to this level last out. That's not enough to get it done either. Must find more.
3 Art Form Didn't pay off on that 3-5 promise last out, but did have a tough trip. Tonight's the test. He will have to step it up for new connections.
4 Hop Sing Set a fast pace at Pocono and ran out of gas. Enjoyed the perfect trip at the Meadows. I guess he needs a trip. Pierce must get one.
5 JB Towne I thought he needed that last one and he was finishing well. Cat sticks over #9 and if you're searching for a price play, this is it.
6 Art Aficionado Picked up a check last time despite his 26-1 odds. Has flashed strong speed before and I would consider him a threat here.
7 Advanced Art Sears' choice over #2 doesn't appear loaded with early speed, so that could be a problem. Has one burst. Timing is essential.
8 Voo Doo Raider Seemed overmatched in that first claiming try here. This isn't going to be that much easier. Not sure about his stamina.
9 Laughing Is An Art(L) He's won for this condition already, but against the better fields, he's been a tad flat. Loses Cat. Bad post. Lots of knocks.

thanks for the positive word guys. we will try to do it on the lead saturday. expect him to be 1st or 2nd at the quarter. joe holloway said the 3 horse is a special horse, so hopefully we can sit behind him and beat him in the stretch. hope miller gives me a good drive

Maybe you may ship the horse to Assinobia Downs.We can stiff him for 3 months and then put a 300 pound fat slob driver on and cash at 40-1. Maybe we win 1500. if he races on a crowded Saturday nite. Is harness racing still going on?

Surf, congrats and best of luck..I can say without hesitation racing under your own colors is as exciting as it gets!!!!! Then when fortunate enough to win it is a feeling that will stay with you for the remainder of your life. How bout the first race ever won at the Meadowlands, the horses owner of the first winner has his second horse going I think tomorrow at the Meadowlands for only his second race at the Meadowlands! Maybe both of you will win at double digits!!
