First let me say that I am a recent victim of fraud by ESB. I discovered this board recently while in search of some information about this crooked book. I am very serious in my pursuit of justice when it comes to this scam sportsbook.

Question #1
Is there anything that a person can do, anything at all, to get paid what they are owed by this sportsbook?

Question #2
Has anybody here who was owed money by ESB ever gotten paid after sheer persistence?

Question #3
How can a company like this continue to operate after they are blatentely ripping people off?

Question #4
Does ESB still advertise anywhere besides the internet?

Question #5
Would anybody on this board be willing to turn up the heat on ESB and join me in exposing them for who they really are? I have a couple connections at the Daily Racing Forum and ESPN News. I also know a sports talk radio host that might help. I think that if we as a group (esspecially the people who have been stiffed by them) step up to the plate, we can really get something accopmlished. Even if we do something small - like we all call the Irish Embassy on the same day, or we all call ESB on their payout day and let them know that if we don't get paid we are going to really put up a strong fight. I do not want to see this operation take anyone else's money. This is a big story. I'm sure that somebody somewhere that works in the media will feel the same way. If we can get the ball rolling on this, we might be able to make a difference.

Thanks for taking the time to answer this post. Again, I am very serious about exposing ESB for who they really are....con-artists! If you are serious too, please let me know, and together we might be able to get something accomplished!

Nothing that I know of.

Question #2

I believe so, but been a long while.

Question #3

It's a rogue environment. There is no regulation and the powers that be in the industry do not want to deal with it. Not their problem.

Question #4
Does ESB still advertise anywhere besides the internet?

I am not certain.

I am sad to say it would likely be a wasted effort.

I got $500 after contacting the police in Ireland. Sgt. O'connor Ballinasloe County. I don't have the # in front of me. I'll bump one of my threads on them.

Just curious How much do they owe you, As for me $9,800 and I'll never see not $0.01 of it. I have been waiting for a payout since last year on March. IF you want to exposed them go to every single sports gambling website that you know of and warned players not to do business with Esb. Peace.

Celaya,
Why did you stop trying to get your money? What was the last thing that they told you before you quit trying to recover it? Would you be willing to give your story to a sportswriter so that he may use it in a story. Thanks.

Celeaya,
They owe me about $3500. I have been trying to collect for about 4 months now. The money is just enough to really make me want to take up a new hobby in exposing these guys for who they are. I would like to post messages on every single board out there. Right now, I'm going for the big fish - television and print media. I figure that If I can get somebody to do a story on these guys over the airwaves....it will reach alot more people, and maybe even them. That's why I would like anybody who is owed money to join me. I will do all the leg work. I just need people ready to do interviews. I will get these guys if it's the last thing I do.

Well after the requested payout of $3,000 last year on March they told me in 5 business days I would received the money but no nothing nada el zippo zilch. So week after week I kept on calling being nice as can be to get a payout only to find out I got the funds place back into my offshore balance account but I never requested that money be placed there. So I called the following week on monday for another payout only to be told there is an audit in my account that no payouts are going out as of now, but the funny thing is I could still wager and even make more deposits if I wanted to how funny is that,LOL.

So then week after week I would say close to three months same excuse all over again the audit is not done yet in your account call again next week. The final straw came around early summer when they told me keep in mind I had about $9,800 most of it through making winning wagers not through deposit, Anyway they said in order to collect on any money(Payout) you must wager 3 times your balance in your account in order for us to send you a payout. So that is close to $29,000 in wagers I had to make in order to get paid that's when I knew I wasn't ever going to get paid so I gave up. I had someone here tried to help me recover my money but to no avail.

The good news is from what sportsbet reported yesterday looks like the owner of ESB is going to prison for money laundering which is good. Not sure when his trial date is set to start.

Also, I forgot to add this but have heard from others that some in management(Most likely just James) at ESB have even made death threats at players that have said you are not going to get paid and to stop calling asking for a payout, we know where you lived and I wouldn't want to be you if I were you. That's one of the tactics they use to get rid of winning players. Also endorser Jim McMahon from what I hear has not been paid this year or last year to endorsed ESB and they still use him as an endorser on there website telebet.com and in magazines they promote this shit book.

hey MickJ,

Was the money that they sent you 100% of your balance?
Also, how many times did you have to call them for that? Also, Did the Irish Police help you in any way? Thanks.

If you want to contact the Irish Police regarding this, then go to http://www.garda.ie. Ballinasloe is in County Galway.

00353-90-9631890

That should get the ball rolling.

Also...http://www.revenue.ie

If they are not paying customers then they are not paying Irish betting tax either!

It was 100%. Calling the police was what did it Yelnam. I had called ESB many times (and wrote a couple letters) over a 7 month period. I finally spoke with Sgt. O'Connor Ballinasloe police about ESB. They called the next day and i had my money within the week. By the way check out copshop's post at OSGA.

Barkers, Why is it Dennis tried to close down this site? Is it because the truth hurts from what many have stated and they are nothing but A BIG SCAM.

barkers is absolutely right...

I also believe that DENNIS ran out of money and stiffed his lawyer at the end, too...

He clearly UNDERRATED the power of the INTERNET in the beginning, which hurt his business significantly...

He spends more time in the court roon than some attornies I know, lol...

ESB was my first offshore sportsbook...good thing I lost my ass there.

Bob McCune pointed me to Intertops when I called him for a few of his books. Looks like he saved me a lot of trouble in addition to giving me some damn good info in those books.
