Where would he be right now had he been healthy the last couple of years? He still might make a run at it.

Illini and myself were in attendance on Father's Day at Busch when Griff Jr. hit #500 of his career with his father in attendance as well. Cardinal fan who caught the ball gave it up after the game for some autographed bats and jerseys. Griffey also flew him out to Cinci for a weekend series and paid all expenses.

imagine how good he could have been if he actually gave a shit...

if he had worked his ass off all these years , he would put up numbers so far out of reach if would blow your mind.

could have been the best ever.

still not bad to be top 25

as natural as they came, it's kind of a shame to remember so much of his career the way it's been the past 6-7 years....

From age 20-30 hard to say anyone was a better ballplayer.

3 years later , and only 75 more homers ... He's really slown down lately. 700 might not be such the lock everyone once thought ...

Junior is the perfect example of why players need to take care of their bodies. I remember when he was with Seattle he never stretched or warmed up. He would just get dressed and run on the field. Now he's paying for it.

Hell of a player I only wish we had been able to see him at his peak for a lot longer.

Have tickets to Junior's first game back in Seattle on June 22nd, can't wait to see him back in town. He left for personal reasons, but he shouldn't have left the M's. He really did have it all here.
