I have seen ads while in Mexico and the Cayman Islands for $90 flights to Havana and promises not to stamp your passport. Always thought this would be a cool and exotic trip. Many areas that have some of the last indigenous caribbean wildlife and some awesome beaches. Not a Castro fan but a lot of respect for the Cuban people.

the passport thing is true..
the beaches are spectacular, cuba is situated in part of the best reef of the Caribbean Sea..
is a very poor country, you could be with your wife and chicks will seat down at your kness no matter what... bring 2 litters of milk and you'll have at least 10 hot ladies...
make sure if you buy cigars to have the proper stamp. if not you could be surprised at the airport...

Thanks guys, have heard nothing but good things. I am spending a week in St John next month so it would be next year before I could muster a Cuban adventure. Unless we invade a couple more countries and then I may be sent there.

Cuba is absolutely fantastic. Safe as well. If you love old cars its heaven as everything is like 1950's. Georgeous beaches, women, and the National Hotel that Lansky and those guys built is truely something to ook at with the marble floors and grand dining halls. Taxi's are Mercedes as well. A must see. They wont stamp ur passport from most Caribean countries if you are a US Citizen. If you like art, the marketplace near the Deville hotel has amazing canvases for like $20. They would easily sell for $500 + in USA at least. Great wood carvings as well. I want to go back soon. I loved it.
