"If you think bad shooting equals uninteresting basketball you are entirely incorrect. Just consider the Pistons' second quarter: They had 10 turnovers and nine points. Generally this would be a recipe for instant defeat. But not when you are playing the Pacers, who are less offensive than Craig Sager's wardrobe."

Haha, I get the joke. But it doesn't make sense! I think you could argue that EVERY team in the NBA is less offensive than Craig Sager's wardrobe. The Pacers could score 173 points in Game 4, Craig Sager would still beat them.

This guy isn't funny

For a long time I have noticed during Hank Aaron`s record breaking homerun, right when he reaches homeplate, it appears to be A VERY YOUNG CRAIG SAGER who pops into the picture, I do not know if its him or not but it does look just like him...I believe he may have been from the Atanta area (afterall he did break in with TBS)....If you ever see the replay watch for the guy with the trenchcoat, it looks like that goofball, a young Craig Sager, lol!

They've shown some great footage on Inside The NBA. They'll show the Sager/Aaron footage from time to time. Maybe Hank Aaron is in the news, or maybe they just feel like making fun of Craig Sager.

Best footage is the slam-dunk contest with Ernie Johnson. It is from the 80s, so you can imagine how tight Ernie's shorts were. And then the rim was only 8 feet or so. Too funny.

I must have noticed it 15 years ago...but never have seen it referenced, the way TNT likes to mock its players, I figured if it were him I would have seen it sooner or later....the resemblance was there obviously, but what had me wondering was that was 1974 and I was not sure he would be that old...he must have been like 20 or so.
