I first came to this forum, because it was mentioned on the OSGA. My eyes felt immediately on a thread regarding Victor Chandler, which was deleted after some time and made me aware of the fact that whenever something interesting shows up, one has got to save that web page. It is for that reason that I would like to look back at a few interesting threads that I have seen during the past three years.
In 1998 I started betting on European football. It was mainly telephone betting. As many firms switched to internet betting, so did I. Then all the junk mails came with all the bonuses. I would simply sign up with every possible offer. Obviously I was a bit naïve believing that depositing with my credit card was as easy as withdrawing. So many times I had to go through what peep describes so well in this thread:

I have always been a big fan of beantownjim. (Him being absent for quite some time now is no good to this forum!) I am fully on his side regarding his Cascade case:

And read my post in:

It is the only proper way Cascade should have handled those that had a bet on that Over/Under.
And then there are the bookies that come into this forum from time to time to comment. It is just unbelievable. I could dig up many threads of the past, but this Finger Lakes thread is just too good:

Pay close attention to the jealousy of many posters!
Nice job herman jones! If it were just for the dramas that you created, you deserved the win!
An honourable mention must go to chips too:

Not often, but sometimes there are truly informative posts. Actually I do believe that there are many smart guys on board, but most of them hide their intelligence. Anyhow one that I enjoyed reading:

Keep up the good work!
