gimme the wolves to beat the lakers for +300.

if the wolves can hold serve.

they have good chance going to LA to steal one.
as they are the best road team in the league.

a PK line in the first game to the MVP + wolves is just a disrespect, and the books will pay for this mistake!!!!

where do i begin to find the holes here:

wolves CAN'T and WON'T hold serve. they will be lucky to split the first 2 at home

they have NO CHANCE of winning 1 in L.A. - SU that is.

a "pick" line for G1 is disrespectful - but to the lakers who are well rested against a wolves team i PROMISE YOU will come out friday emotionally, mentally and physcially exhausted and get beaten rather handily.

if you like the wolves - wait until after G1 - you'll get much better odds on them then. but you should save your money - for the wolves have NO PRAYER of winning this series - NONE!

i do agree the books will pay for this mistake - but only after lakers' money gets shoved over the counter in large amounts - and then gets paid back out in larger amounts after the game.

as shrink and i have been saying for some time now:

Lakers - 2003-04 NBA Champs

"No chance of winning 1 in LA"

Getting a bit bold don't you think? Winky you are starting to sound like Joe Public. Every square in the world is saying what you are saying there. Lakers deserve to be favored, but this will be far from an easy series for them against an extremely live dog at these high prices.

the wolves are a better team than the spurs. you guys are nuts if you think this is cake for LA. spree casell and garnett?! the spurs played like crap and lost some seriously close games in that series. parker and duncan are just not enough fire power.

LA is talented yes, enough that they should have beat the spurs and they did. lets not forget LA is an older and slower team. minnesota is going to cause some serious matchup problems for them especially if they can move laterally on the lakers.

this is the NBA's version of danny manning's NCAA run.

I think the TWolves are mere pawns on the NBA chessboard. The Lakers get the queen, every time, every year. Best Wishes...OF

I want to see Gary and Karl kiss the trophy when I hand it to them, literally. They can kiss my ass after the ceremony. The Commish

Minny gets a day of rest that should be enough. Cassel back is another story. Like Minny in game 1.

surfer dude is soooooo right here

mightyvol - i hope you find a nice place to live after friday - because your house will not be owned by you any more.

i truly hope that by game time those of you foolish enough to think the wolves have a prayer in this series come to your senses and realize the wolves have ZERO PRAYER of winning this series - NONE - and we will see that friday in G1 - when LA wins by 2B digits in a game that won't be close for very long.

i will admit i am a lakers fan - have been all my life. but i am NOT a homer. i bet against the lakers quite a lot (and doing it for the regular season is the only way to go). but here - as i said - i really don't see how this game will be close.

i beg those of you thinking of putting money on the timberpuppies NOT to do so - but i can't stop you from doing it.

Winky? I cant hear you. What is that you are saying about your Lakers? I am having a hard time getting your message. I must be missing something here. The Wolves won the West they have home court. They are the BEST team in the League. They are the BEST team in the League on the road. WHat more could you ask for. They will win the series. Keep your money in your pocket if you plan to bet on the Los Angeles Lakers. I dont think they have a chance in hell to beat the Wolves. I hope this message gets through. I can't believe that the Lakers are favored against the BEST team in the League on their home court. I think they call this stealing. No way in hell do the Wolves lose Game 1.

Careful Wink is pretty sharp. The series is one thing, game one another. I do like the Wolves to win game one - being full of convidence after beating the Kings. Not to mention they win 4 out of 5 games at home, while the Lakers are only slightly over %500 on road.

I was hoping it was 99.9% Laker bettors so I could get a ridiculous price. Here is to hoping for at least series price of +325 come game time. Come on Laker bettors, I need even more value

lakers had a week off, wolves had 1 day off
lakers have a hungry malone and payton
wolves have a garnett who never got passed the 1st round except this yr in 9 years
wolves have home court

but you guys will learn real soon, the lakers and spurs were in a different class then the rest of the league

wolves shouldnt have got passed the kings. look the kings won game 1 and then had a 10 pt lead with 4 minutes left in game 2

lakers in 4

i want to keep this thread open all series, because me and windyduck will be lauging at these stupid idiots wasting their money on the wolves

but keep betting them, and keep donating to me
