Once again, when the Pacers needed the clutch shot, the most notorious clutch shooter in the history of the NBA comes through for the Pacers draining a 3 with less than :30 to go, and securing the first win in the Eastern Conference Finals.....

It was an ugly game, and neither team played well, however the final score is all that matters, and the Pacers now lead 1-0....

He will end up costing the Pacers the series. Got totally outplayed by Rip. He made one freakin shot, when for some reason he was left wide open. Rip 23 points on 10-20, Reggie 6 points on a miserable 1-7. The reason the game was tied so late is because of Reggie. Pacers looked horrible, at home. Not exactly a confidence inspiring effort. 13 point 3rd Q? 30 pt half at home? They could lose outright next game. Lakers walk right through the Pacers, if they can somehow hang on. Outplayed, outhustled and outcoached. And if you think I am a Pacer hater, I have 5.5 to 1 to win it all on these chumps. What a waste of money. Best Wishes...OF

Rasheed Wallace took a pass tonight scoring 4 points on 1 for 7 shooting. Never a factor as an inside precense he must be hurt.

Sheed has plantar fascitis, does not have that burst or ability to get up. Still playing great D. He is on O'neal most of the time. He and Ben ended up with special Indy 5 pf's, while O'Neal and Artest had 1 each? Even Foster only got two. And yet Pacers were outrebounded 47-41. And outworked from what I saw. Not sure these disparities will continue, especially with change of venue. Pistons were able to completely take Pacers out of their sets, almost every possession in 2nd H. Ususally broke down to someone, either Artest or O'neal one on one move. With Wallace's waiting for them. Should have went with Ben over again, as they dropped number to 22 1/2 points and rebounds. He had 22 boards! Huge difference from Brian Grant. Will get some positions soon here...OF

for a guy like OF, all kinds of great stuff will pop up. . .the game itself? just builds the case for lakers. . .greg anthony said it best, the two teams who can expose the lakers weakness houston and san antonio are gone. the lakers can play cruised and relaxed as minny can not expose these weaknesses and neither can indy and probably not detroit.

OF capping is my passion, and im just in awe bro. . .tottaly uncanny. . .just sick. . .you pass on the game and you're like o.k. i saw it gunna do this this and that

Unlike my positions yesterday, when I had a huge advantage with rested Lakers over non rested, in fact spent TWolfs. But today was much tougher, as I really faded Indy last series with Heat, but getting 11 1/2 vs. 5 1/2 is quite a bit of difference. You show me opener, and I can pick a few things up. The way the Pistons were able to take Pacers out of halfcourt game, .337 FG%. Carlisle had no answers. Pistons sets much cleaner, 50% more assists. Pistons leave this game with heads high. Indy thinks, we are in trouble. They had a few advantages in this game #1. They are gone in game #2. Need to come up with a betting strategy, soon...OF

LMFAO...

I would like to know what Indy player is saying they are in trouble.....

I can twist what happened just as well as you can, and say Indy can shoot 30%, only score 30 points in second half, reggie only shoot 1-7 and STILL WE WON..........

Which means, when we play a GOOD GAME, we would blow them out....

You have been against the Pacers ever since the playoffs started, and thats cool, cuz we just keep winning.....

And u can twist the game however you want, but one thing is not in dispute, Pacers lead 1-0..

I thought the thread was about the real Reggie - Jackson that is. He did have his number 9 finally retired by the A's.

It's always amusing the way the media portrays things. The reality is, Miller had an awful game, yet he'll be portrayed as the hero. The real Pacer star in this game was Al Harrington, who carried them in the 2nd quarter when no one else was doing much of anything. Another unsung hero was Jeff Foster, who made the tying layup late plus had several big offensive rebounds.

Reggie always delivers when it's crunch time...

he can go 0-20 and hit the game winning shot...

no doubt here....

Now thats a legitimate critical comment...

Reggie did have a bad game, its just the fact that when it is crunch time, and when u HAVE to have a shot, there is no one i would rather have shoot it then Reggie....even when he has been 0-6....he just has that "magic" at the end of games, and especially in the playoffs...

Foster and Harrington are the reason that Reggie's last minute shot even mattered...

No dispute there, they stepped up big....

Great you Indy fans make me laugh. What have they done ATS wise since should not be here Celtics fell out. Let's see. Covered game #1, when it was a 8 point game with minute or so left. I lost. Game #2 gagged up huge lead, landed on 11, I had 11 1/2, I won. Game #3, 4 1/2 fave on road, I took everything, $L +2.00 points, you name it. Won huge. Next game, again same loser road fave, I took all again $l +2.00, points, Pacers lose even worse, I win huge again. Game #5, laying 11 again, there was 11 1/2, I did not get it. Pacers again allow backdoor cover, I tie. Game #6, this time I get a little conservative, mostlty hammer the points, lot of 4 1/2, Miami shoots worst ever, still has chance to win, cover due to 2 missed ft's. Series over. Now yesterday, Pacers down real fast, have great 2nd quarter. But when that 4Q hits, they fade. Sure enough, tie game very late. They are very fortunate to win, again, do not cover. I passed. Getting best numbers, fading Pacers you are 6-0 ATS L6. I love the Pacers, all they do is make me money...OF

My records indicate Pacers have covered the spread around about 55 times this season.

My records indicate they are 0-6 ATS L6. General Sir, in this what have you done for me lately business, that 0-6 is fattening up my frogs. Bluntly speaking, they are overated vs. the numbers being offered. I did not bet against the Pacers in the regular season. I am betting against them now. And I will stick with what I said, they were outplayed, outhustled and outcoached. Regular season results had no effect on what I saw yesterday. But it will affect what I do tomorrow. I always get Bucs/Pacers fan riled up. He can share my lily pad anytrime, seems like a real good person, just like you general sir. As always...Best Wishes...OF

Best team might be gone already. If Lakers win today, that is that. Pacers have their work cut out for them. They were lucky to get game #6 on road. They do not matchup well with Pistons, especially guards. I did not want the Miami series to end. Huge earn series for me. Upon reflection, I did make one error. The regular season record, and ATS record do have a correlation to the playoffs. It is one of the reasons why Pacers laying too much wood. But you are a dog player. The Pacers will be a dog, finally, this series. Best Wishes...OF
