Need help with ABC Islands please

OK this may or may not be a problem.

I signed on with ABC Islands and since have sent them 3 deposits = $3000. The monet was sent western Union where there was a charge of $85 which ABC Islands paid for $68 and I got a bonus of $100 the fees and bonus required me to turn the % over a certain amount of times which I did.

I got hot over thepast week and wanted to cash out $2700. ABC Islands told me the only way I could cash out was to have it Western Unioned to me for a fee of $150. I don't want that, I want them to send me the a check and pay the $25 fee for it. THey told me that send $ out the same wqay it came in til the amount you sent in and sent out.

If this is the case there is no way to dodge paying the transfer fees no matter what you do. Every other sports book I have used has always sent me a check provided I meet the rolover requirement. Can someone lend me a hand or advise me what to do. I dont want to get stuck paying high transfer fees.

I funded with Neteller.
So I SHOULD be ok for 1 withdrawl per clander month (that is why I only accepted the 20% bonus and not the 25%)

Sorry this happened to you with the Western Union. Never used WU myself.

Only options I see are take it out $300/month free per WU (9 months though), pay the fees (ouch), or best option appears to be a book to book transfer. Many quality books available :

They pulled the same thing on me. I made them show me the rule, which took the clerk 15 minutes to find and it was in a very obscure place on the site.

You can always scalp/middle it out.

Not sure if they would go for that or if either of us is really comfortable doing that. Feel bad for you.

If you used a credit card to send the money western union they have every right to send it back to that same person (name on card) they protect themselves this way. This isnt hard.

Mr. Teaser and General,

This has come up many times in the past and I think most people agree that if a book has $500k in postup balances they should have $500k available for withdraw. This does not mean that there needs to be $500k in Neteller, $500k in Western Union, etc....

A book has the right to establish rules that help it handle cash flow which may include requiring a player to withdraw his deposit (not winnings) in the same manner he deposited. I believe Cascade, Heritage and other books in the past have had well publicized Neteller shortages and large surpluses at Western Union. Many other players will transfer money from Book A to Book B then ask B for a payout. Rules like the one at ABC, and i would guess Jazz and Loose Lines, help prevent this from occuring. This reduces costs for the books and allows them to continue to offer the bonuses many players like.

And just for the record, I do believe that a deposit by Western Union and a withdraw of the same funds by Neteller constitutes money laundering. Just a small technicality but I do know that is how Nevada casino's interpret the law. They will even keep my deposit in an envelope and give me back the same bills.

another thought here. If a book believes they are dealing with someone who isnt who he says he is they will do this western union gig just to make him show ID to pickup the money.

you have to remember as a book anyone who signs up can beat you a million different ways.
