usaully the book finds out about this mistake by the players that have the win and are given a loss,i find reporting it before they get complaints makes you look good.

It is true, the book usually discovers the mistake.Sad to say, but there are many players who try to" pull one over" so when you report the error your credibility at the book is noted and appreciated.

I think the Discrepency is because of the Ammount,,, i would think If It had been a Higher bet of mine,,, it wouldnt of gotten graded Incorrectly,,,,
anyway,,, Interesting topic,,,, and How people Deal with it is even More interesting,, haha

Pete..honesty is always the best policy even in this business....why jeopardize your credibility at a book for a mere sum of money. It is tempting to say too bad for them or they won enough from me anyway so I am keeping the "free" money. Some books will let you keep the money but someone has to pay the price..maybe one of the clerks at the books perhaps.....
I truly understand why you may feelit is best to keep the money but knowing what I know ....I would give it back. There are more benefits in the long run if you intend to stay at the book.

I reported several misgrades. I once kept a loss that was grade a push, but this same book slow paid me for several months so I considered it "interest."

I always, always report bad lines too. It's nice to try to establish a relationship with the books - most of them are pretty decent guys & you'd feel like a real asshole if you knew you were taking a shot at a guy like Ted from BG or Mike from Rio (just to name a few).

Judge, I like you too, but I'd prefer if called me buddy, pal, dude, or something equally hetorsexual, yet endearing.

Not that it's wrong - it's not my cup of tea.

ps - Congrats on your movements in Mr. Flip-flop Kerry's state.

Judge,
I knew I could count on you. I asked Dicky to fly to Boston with me, but he said he's not leaving San Fran.

Bitch.
