If a 4 and 10 handicap is playing a 1 handicap in a bestball aka foursome, what would you make the line? Also would the 4 and 10er be better off doing match play or stroke play?

Rail....I would make the 4&10 a very slight favorite. Maybe -115. If I were the 4&10 I would think my chances would be marginally better with stroke play.

True. Why because a lesser skilled player is more apt to blow up on any given hole. In match play no stroke scores are kept, so blow up, or crooked number holes only hurt for that particular hole.

Depends on the golfers.... a steady 10 won't help the 4 much in a matchplay situation...no birdies. A long, wild hitting 10 that makes 2-3 birdies a round along with 5 doubles would be of more help. ON a hard golf course the 1 should be a slight fave. The harder the course the less likely a higher handicapper will shoot near his handicap. I've played a lot of 2-1 matches and this scenario would seem to favor the lower handicapper.
