(0:00) End Period

with a a minute and change, Wade made a layup that made the score 94-82 and then Eddie Jones hit both free throws which would make it 94-84. I was watching the game, when Wade missed the FT after he got fouled, they put the scoreat 94-81. Am I crazy or did anyone else see this?????

i did not see it,i just checked espn play by play and they show 94-81 and then eddie jones makes 2 free throws to make it 94-83 and there is no more scoring

I think they changed a Rasual Butler 3 to a 2, confusing the play-by-play tickers. The 94-80 score timestamped at 2:05 was probably supposed to be 94-79. If you look at the box score, Rasual Butler isn't credited with any 3's.

I wasn`t sure why though a point seemed to be taken away from Miami...I had just flipped it back when I noticed this...I believe it was after free throws....I will take a look at what Slim wrote, I personally noticed the score seemed wrong after two free throws...as far as I can remember

The Butler shot at 2:47 confused nba.com. I remember the shot -- it was borderline. Probably scored a 3 at first and then later changed to a 2 during a stoppage of play.

What a story it would be for the NBA to have and change the final score of a game that lands on or about the game spread. That would make for some serious entertainment.

Do any of you recall about 25+ years ago when they brought some player out of the locker room 5+ miniutes after the game was over to shoot a free throw????

He had a towell over his shoulder has he shot the free throw as I recall..........and I know it had a bearing somehow on the pointspread also.

I dont recall the EXACT game, but I remember having this happen probably around 15 years ago or so...........and it did indeed affect the total or the pointspread.

Maybe somebody here remembers.

Also, I know somebody here recalls what I mentioned about the free throw in the post I made above.

Somehow, I wanna say it involved the Knicks.

Glad i'm not involved in this.

The score always effects someone with alternate lines. pools, etc.

Don't know if this is the reference in question, but I remember a game in which George McGinnis was brought back to shoot 3 free throws (back in the 3 to make 2 days). He bricked all 3. Don't recall any other specifics.
