I really think the value is with Tarver (+388 Pinn.) why because I think Tarver can win. He is much bigger and stronger than Jones, and a real Light Heavy. Also imo Jones is just about over the hill and ripe to be knocked out.

Wil, are you implying Jones is not a real light heavyweight. Line is high, but you still have to win to cash. Not this time. I see no value, not in rounds or price. Stop sign lay on Jones. Best Wishes...OF

OF - I am implying that Tarver is much more of a light heavy than Jones. At 6'3" 175 he is much bigger than the 5'11" Jones is listed at. He is bigger and stronger. Another factor I will add is his trainer Buddy McGirt who is as good a corner man as there is. Tarver has faith in him, which always is a big plus. Bottom line I almost never lay big juice ( I know there are times when it is a value move) so for me Tarver is a logical choice. A fighter who can box, take a punch, and already has done a number on Jones in J/T one. Jones relies on speed which at this late date is clearly diminished. Don't forget crowd will be on Tarver's side after robbery in first fight. Tarver is a dice dog IMHO.

Jones fought at Heavies, dropped ton of weight to meet Tarver, who he clearly underestimated. Remember the second Lewis Rahman fight? OF

Hasim the Has Been v Lennox Lewis two. I remember a little, mostly that it was over early (4th round KO I think by LL) in Vegas. Has it got anything to do with tonight's bout?

They still have to actually fight, I just hope the best fighter ends up winning. btw. the odds have been all over the place today moving from +480 down to +380 now at +402 at Pinnacle. Looks like a good fight even for LHW's.

Last week was the great fight, even though I lost, or got robbed. The small guys just are more exciting. A ready Jones is a class above Tarver. My point on Lewis fight is a lot of times Champs like Jones show up undertrained, overconfident and get hurt. When they rematch, they train properly and have seen their opponent. Tarver will have no surprises tonight, except a much better Jones. I usually do well at boxing Wil. Again, pop a cold one and enjoy. Best Wishes...OF

OF - thanks for the thoughts, I am from from an expert on boxing. Just wanted to give G.Money my opinion (never easy to pick 4-1 underdog). Enjoy the fight.

Take Jones at the dropping price. What a steal! You have the greatest fighter of our generation vs a guy that gave him a little trouble.
Remember the Montell Griffin second fight. Remember Roy vs James Toney. When Roy is motivated NO ONE is even in his league.
Those who don't remember history are doomed to repeat it.
