boys....any electricans in the house?

I'd like to think we're among conmen, thugs, criminals, etc. at least that's what JJGold jbelieves.

anyway, i live in the texas heat and i have this old clunker of an air Conditionar unit that drains my utilitiieyes. my apt complex is slowly phasing them out for energy efficieitnty newer ones. anyway, just want to expedite the process and break my old unit/vandalize it/destory it. how would i go about doing this without electrocuting myself or the cat or even burning down my bachelorPad? thanks in advance and goodLuck

Make sure that it isnt pluged in!!!! Then you can do anything you want to it!! like let it slip out the window!! Make sure nobody is below though. lmao

i think appolo has the best idea for you. if it falls out the window, it should be pretty well destroyed.

only problem is, if it still takes them a couple weeks to get you a new one, you may die of heat stroke.

thanks for the replies guys. sometimes this forum is more information than the crap that comes up on google when i'm trying to get the job done. the problem is the unit is on the 1st floor on the ground outside. i may have to upload a pic here soon. wondering if there's some type of chemical i can douse it with and char it alive to any chemist majors out there.
