'Van Helsing' actress Kate Beckinsale marries
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- "Van Helsing" actress Kate Beckinsale married her boyfriend and "Underworld" director Len Wiseman during a small weekend wedding at the lush Bel-Air Hotel.
It was the same weekend the monster-hunting adventure "Van Helsing" debuted as No. 1 at the box office with a more than $54 million take.
The couple recited wedding vows Sunday in what publicist Troy Nankin described as an "intimate" ceremony. The bride wore a Vera Wang gown, Nainkin said Monday, but no other details were released.
It was the first marriage for both. They were honeymooning at an undisclosed location.
The 30-year-old actress also starred in 2001's "Pearl Harbor," 2002's "Laurel Canyon" and 2003's "Underworld."
Wiseman, a music video director for En Vogue and Megadeath, made his feature-film debut with last fall's "Underworld." He's now working on an untitled sequel to "Underworld" with Beckinsale again in the starring role.
