The Anaheim Angels are red hot - winning their 8th straight game today behind Bartolo Colon 7-2 over Tampa Bay. Unfortunately the Angels' Darrin Erstad strained his right hamstring trying to score a run in the 3rd inning. Erstad looks like he will join stars Garrett Anderson, and Tim Salmon on the DL. The Halos have won 14 of 17 (8 straight) and have the best record in baseball at 21 and 10.

Healthy this Angel team is better than one that won the WS in 02.

the offense is better than 02 squad but the key to them winning that title was the outstanding BP of the angels. when the sox take on the angels should be a good series hopefully they will both be healthy by then

add Jose Guillen to that list of injured halos...looks like davanon and figgins will getting alot of playing time in the near future!

Angels-Red Sox in playoffs would be one hell of a series IMO.
