OK..first of all...Herve Filion was a great ..if not the greatest harness driver. He loved to bet too. So. He was barred in the US for several years maybe in the mid nineties ..He is in fact currently driving in the uS.AS far as the Meadowlands goes..the races are not fixed but a great deal of inside info does get out...remember this is a betting sport..drivers are allowed to bet on their own mount .If a horse warms up super the driver may let the owner know...Sometimes the favorites in the race dont feel so sporty that night...So why not bet ..isnt that the game?Small tracks with small purses I say 35% "fixed" in one way or another. That is my opinion. U are free to agree or disagree.
