As one who will be attending the GN get-together, and a former Vegan, I ask What's left ?

I used to frequent joints like the Western, Cortez, Shoe, GN, Golden Gate, etc. I loved those games. I'm rusty, I don't play here in CT.

I'll brush up and attack, when I come, but no 6:5 games. I lose interest against a shoe. I like the hand-held games, esp. the Western, I know their dealers ain't no mechanics.

I'm a hit and run guy, obvious counter, but it works once a year.

What's the scene now ?

They probably still do, RIO, but I know shoe doesn't anymore. I'm afraid to cross LV BLVD, after dark on foot, to 10th and Fremont. It's scary, even though Po-lice station is right there.

I used to tend bar at a dive called "the Bank Club" in the 1900 block, near Eastern BLVD. about 12 years ago, on graveyard. That's risky enough for me, I survived.

Anyone remember Stupak's Vegas World? Both dealer cards were face up but they took pushes.
