Shilling futures bet

Hey guys, I have a futures bet on shilling going for under 18.5 wins for a decent amount. this is the first year i have done these wagers and dont know if i am where i need to be. 3 wins in 6 starts so far. Anyone have any guesses where shilling's total wins will wind up. Also if anyone has any feedback on shilling this year compared to 2 and 3 years ago when he was red hot would be welcomed as well.thanks

Its too early for any definitive answer. If Schilling wins half his starts he won't get to 18½.

A healthy Curt Schilling should get 29 or 30 more starts this year. He has to win 16 of them to beat you. Can he do it - yes, will he do it is a good question, and remains to be seen.

he wont do it with those damn bats if they stay like last night. he only let up 2 runs, that is a W most of the time

Did you have to pay juice? Odds on? Hate to see him reach 18 with a few starts left, cannot hedge. Plus earn low on 7 month hold. Besides that seems you are on the right side of a public number. Very small sampling hard to judge. Give him 15-18 starts. Any injury you are in. Best Wishes...OF

thanks for the feedback guys.i had to lay -115 on it. Looking over the stats he only has pitched once against a decent team (yankees) with 2 starts against toronto and 1 each against tampa bay, baltimore and cleveland.I do agree with robfunk as he has not gotten much run support when he pitches. I guess you guys are right when you say its to early. I should have an idea where i stand around the middle of june. thanks again

I like your bet. It's a toss up at the moment, but if he misses a few starts, you're a heavy favorite. You'll either barely lose or you'll win it easy in my opinion.
