Well I made a post about this last month or so about them cold calling me around 5-10 times a week. Well I asked they stop this practice and they did for around 2 weeks, with only 1 or 2 calls within a 14 day period. Then starting last week, they started up with calling again. Not at a 5-10 time call a week rate, but at a 3 call per week basis. So I took them up on one of their offers.

They claimed on the phone and in email format that they would pay all transfer fees. Well after I sent in 2 qualifying deposits, they will NOT pay for the transfer fees! No suprise here since they have done the same thing many other times. Usually it is fixed with a simple phone call, but this time, 3 SUPERVISORS said that they wont pick up the fees! Now that was yesterday and after talking to them, I TOLD THEM that I NEVER wanted another bullshit phone call offer of some bonus that they would not accept after the money was sent in. I even sent them 2 emails demanding the same thing, NO MORE PHONE CALLS!!!!!!!!

Well what do you think happened again today. 2 more phone calls offering other bonus offers!! SO I asked the clerk why she called when I have told them on 5 occassions to NEVER call again, well she said that their were no notation on my account about that.

Well I MADE sure that hse made some sort of notation this time. Get this, the telemarketer actually hung up on me!

It isnt the money that I am pissed about. They owe me less $50 in transfer fees, but it is the point that they keep cold calling me 5 times a week asking for deposits then they wont give you the advertised bonuses! So naturally I was pretty pissed when the lady calls yesterday and today AGAIN and asks for more deposits! I should say that they offered to send me 25% of the transfer fees that I wanted, but I told them no, I wanted ALL of the deal, or none!

What does it take to get vwager and playerssuperbook to stop calling you? I thought that I asked them to close my account 1 month ago, but I guess that they dont close accounts!

Does anyone else have this problem?

very unprofessional, what if say a customer wants to be discreet? Some guys may not want the family to know... Its wrong period...

why wouldn`t they honor the fees if thats what they agreed to? Especially since it was done on a cold call, how can they not own up to that?

Don't feel so alone they still call me every once in awhile. it seems like they find someone stateside to do these and they must give them a list of however many customers and tell them to have at them. i got 3 calls a day from the same gal somewhere in colo. it seems like for a month or more. once i realized it was the same person over and over i told her so and told her to quit calling and she did. about a month later same thing started only this girl was in virginia or somewhere. i cut her off told her not interested dont call no more and she didnt.
so no worry soon they'll switch lists again and be back on me and off you

You are right that is usually is the same girl or at least 1 or 2. The newest number comes from the area code 954. But about 1/2 of the calls register as unavailable on my cell phone.

It isnt that big of a deal in terms of family finding out for me since it is my cell phone, but it just becomes a real pain when they dont honor the offer

playersonly69,

Have you had a moderator on here contact them on your behalf about covering the fee's? And did you meet the minimum deposit requirements to get the fee's covered? Shoot me an e-mail at bettorstalk@aol.com

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

No I didnt ask a moderator to call them about the fees. It isnt really the fees taht has gotten me pissed. It is the fact that on NUMEROUS occassions I asked them to stop cold calling and they said that they would. Then this time, they had a different $100 deposit option where they said that they would pick up all neteller fees. Well they of course didnt.

Lets see how long it takes for them to call me again on the cell phone. I think that they will call again in 10 days, or at least that would be the over/under.

I only sent the 2 small deposits in to play in their poker room anyway.

APex has cold called in the past, but usually only until you make your first deposit. They say that it is to "ask if you have questions" about the deposit process. That is a legitimate call, but hte problem is that they call the NEXT DAY after you signed up if you have not made a deposit yet

Hey Fishead,
If the reason you keep a certain book off your recommended list here at the RX is because of COLD CALLING then ALL shops that cold call should be taken off!I've been cold called by MVP, First Fidelity, Oaklahoma Sports,Hollywood,WagerOnSports, and Cris!

Players, you need to start a thread about Best golf Courses to play and you will surely get someone's attention, then sneak your REAL info in there, they will have no excuse but to respond...

First Fidelity is not on the Rx. recommended but non advertiser list. Precisely because of complaints like the ones in this thread.

JFS - Hollywood (advertiser), Cris, and WAGERonSports (non-advertiser) are recommended.

Rx. Preferred books

What is your pokerroom ID? I could give you around 10 reasons not to play poker at Bogarts or MVP poker. I would rather do that by email though
