Knowing tout salespeople, the best strategy if you just want off the lists is to calmly say "sorry, but sports betting forced me into bankruptcy. I have no credit cards, almost no cash, and my bookie cut me off. Waste your time if you wish, but I just can't buy your services". If you get all defensive or pissed they will just try their 15 angles at you. If you hang up on them it just gets them more fired up to harass you. It might take a few times of doing, but eventually you get crossed off of the lists you are on and in time the calls go away.
