Who was voted off Idol tonight?

I missed it...a few comments about last night...

George-was horrible, he was my sleeper pick, his song selections have been terrible of late, get back to singing MoTown type stuff George
Jennifer Hudson-has come out of nowhere to possibly steal the runner up spot..
DeGarmo- was very good last night, she probaby staved off elimination.
Fantasia- Simply the BEST, hands down the champion!

Big Red- his rendition of Mandie, the kid just has zero personality, it had to be HIM?

Tonight might have been the biggest joke since Tamyra Gray being voted off the first season so early...

The 4 "worst" singers left were the top 4 vote getters this week...

So it wasnt just a matter of one person not being liked or one bad singer getting alot of votes, the 3 best singer were "the" bottom 3....can u imagine if this continues?

The finale being a battle between Jasmine Trias and John Stevens?...

Just shows that Fox tampers and fixes this show however they like for rating reasons. Every week a group of about 4 are the top vote getters, then all of a sudden they are in the bottom 3. The biggest giveaway that it was rigged is when George the black male singer was told last to go join the top vote~getters group. He just automatically walks over there assuming those 3 were the top vote getters, but was then told "I told you to join the top group, your in the wrong group"........What a freakin crock! Such a put on it's pathetic........

I was reading the Idol thread we have here for the first time in a long time....I can`t believe some people actually thought Camille was good....She was horrible...

Both the Hawaian girls are average at best, but Camille was not even close...

If Fantasia doesn`t win the whole thing , then it is indeed fixed!

I am not even a fan of that style singer but its very obvious Fantasia is head and shoulders above the rest...

Big George...what happened to him? He needs to sing some Marvin Gaye or Otis Redding or Sam Cooke!!!

I wish I would have seen it tonight Hache, while I wasn`t a big fan of Jennifer Hudson`s she has had two very strong weeks in a row...I bet she was shocked to get voted out?

How is the redheaded boy still out there Hache? William Hung could rival him , if Hung had a good song in his Hunglike range LOL...seriously, maybe the redhead gets alot of votes because he`s an oddity?

Why do you guys waste your time watching this crap? Hache Man, I agree with you 100%, that flammer Seacrest couldnt get his stories striaght with the numbers during the finals last year. That was the beginning of the end for me and tonight was the end for me. Flat out joke that the 3 best singers left were on the verge of elimination tonight.

Gang, your NOT going to believe this either, but it is being rumored here on the island that our Princess Jasmine Trias and John Stevens are checking each other out......WTF....It is being circulated here on the islands, and has been even broadcast over a popular radio station, that they are checking eachother out.....I dont know if this has any truth to it, but I hope its false.....Dam, I know the guy is a nice guy, but c'mon Jas!

I guess I was the only one not completely shocked by tonight. You had the top 4 who all could have gone so their fans poured on the voting and kept them alive. Then you had three girls who have the exact same singing style, all supposedly safe, splitting up the votes amongst themselves. That is why the voting was the way it was. Remember Jennifer has been near the bottom since the beginning, and bringing up here 2 yr old son on stage doesn't help Fantasia's chances. You have to take into account who is voting here. That being said Fantasia is still a cut above, and John is still a cut below.

This comment makes no sense to me.

Fox sees that a group of about 4 are the top vote getters. This means that the audience enjoys these 4 the most, and want to tune in each week to hear them sing and to see them succeed.

"It's all fixed for ratings J~Man".

So - to get higher ratings - Fox fixes the contest and eliminates the most popular performers.

Why - so that the audience will get p.o'd and disappointed? So that the people they are tuning in to see will no longer be there?
And this will bring higher ratings?????

When they told George to go stand with the top 3, you see him walking towards the middle, kinda waiting for them to tell him where to go. Then he realizes they are gonna make him make up his own mind, so he goes over to the 3 girls.

Guy's I GUARANTEE that their are tons of SIMON HATERS OUT THERE! Whoever he says sucks people vote for, its a free call so they do opposite of Simon! Last night prooved it!

assassin, what did you get latoya at and when are you gonna unload jasmine? I would think if she goes top 4 you can unload over 20. That seems a pretty good bet.

The judges keep harping on the fact that this is a talent contest not a popularity contest, but they're wrong and it gets shown each week.

I would love to be able to see a demographic breakdown of the votes, but I doubt that will happen, would make it too obvious.

Is everyone in Hawaii voting for Jasmine?

I'm also surprised (happily, but I really am surprised) that I haven't heard anyone claim that racism is what is skewing the voting after last night.

Maybe after last season's fix they don't want to play that card.

Disclaimer - I'm not positive it was a fix, but it really seemed strange that EVERYONE I knew who tried to vote for Clay couldn't get through, kept getting busy signals, supposedly indicating the his lines were already full, but every one then tried one or two calls to Ruben, and had no problem getting through; anyone I knew who was voting for Ruben got through almost every time.

I dont know how this will help or determine who will win in this competition, and I really dont want to get into a discussion on who will win. I know we all have our favorites...You all know that I have to root for that little Hawaiian Princess Jasmine Trias cause she is from my home town.....(I am a Homer Shithead!)LOL..

But, since the peoples call in voting is what is going to determine who gets to stay and who leaves, and because I see several people here who are wagering on these outcome.....I thought that I would share with you some information that may (not sure, but what the hell) help you out somehow....This information is from Hawaii which I know most dont have access to, so whenever possible you know that I will always try and share with you ALL...So here it is....

American Idol Host Ryan Seacreep stated that approx 25 million(I think, if I'm not mistaken this is the amount he stated calling in) people called in to vote for the winners of last nights show....Well just to let you all know, it was confirmed by Verizon Hawaii that 3.4 Million Votes came in from Hawaii alone....Now, I know that all the votes that came in from Hawaii wasnt for Jasmine alone, but I can tell you that a BIG BIG MAJORITY were for her.....This place has American Idol mania because of her....and bars and wherever there is a TV set, people here are all watching and supporting this sweet island girl.....

In last weeks show where Camille, the ONLY Hottie in the show, was voted out....Only 1.4 Million Vote were have said to come in from Hawaii......What this is telling me, is that many people here were both wanting these two young talented beauties to win and move on, as we support all our Hawaiian's whenever they take on the Big World......But now that their is ONLY Jasmine left, who everyone here just simply adores, and how could you not,....even Quintan Torentino stated how big a fan he is of her......

Anyways, because she is the only one left between the two Hawaii girls, the people here will be loading up and voting the hell out for Jasmine.....Now again, I dont know how this will help you win or help you in your wagering, as I am not wagering on anything but the Odds I wagered on Jas winning it all......But I just wanted to let you ALL know what is going on here which may or may not play some part big or small, I am not sure , in the outcomes of these coming weeks.....This is alittle information that I thought I share with you freely, and in no way to sway or influence or debate to you who should win.....I think they are all good and ALL very courageous, enthusiastic, and seemingly ALL good people who I think will ALL go on to some sort of Music connected thing in the future, and I wish them ALL the Best of Luck and Success in the Future, as I do ALL of You....So please take this for what it is worth to you and use in whatever way you see fit.....I'll talk to ya ALL later, got to get back to capping todays MLB games....Aloha CC.

I posted this totals of call in votes after the show with Quentin Torantino....So far from what I am getting that 3.4 Million call in for Jasmine from Hawaii....Just about doubled, after this last Barry Manilow performance....So to answer your question, yes everyone in Hawaii seems to be voting for Jasmine......
