How would you like to see a casino in crofton maryland?

apparently a man who has been trying for several years to get permits to build on about 150 acres has become fed up with local and state government that has been stopping him.

word has it, that he has sold the land to some indians from new york who plan to open a casino.

ive heard this from 2 seperate sources now, but havent been able to find anything official to confirm it.

It isn't that easy RPM. Tribes have to prove they have historical ties to the state and then get the federal government to take the land into trust. Without a good clear history to the state that won't happen. A couple tribes from Oklahoma have been trying to claim this in Pennsylvania, but it all sounds like a pipe dream. Another tribe in Wisconsin who did have some history in New York tried the same thing and so far has been denied. So simply put I would call this extremely unlikely.
