These are different times with all the money but the game isn`t any easier to learn....Back in the 70`s a QB would be drafted and then groomed for 5 years... now its 5 weeks of training camp!

I say NONE make an impact next year, I`m still surprised Collins is being waived , are the Giants really expecting Eli Manning to be ready to play in NYC in 2004?

really is there any QB that anyone wants to watch besides vick and manning? what the hell is more exciting than vick on sunday night football. its just stupid what he did to carolina in that game. have you ever seen a guy dart around and stop on a dime before the next wave of defenders comes close and then do it again and either sprint 60 yards or drop a 30 yard completion bomb? its retarded. . .

The only reason Collins is being waived is cap room. Caughlin will bring in an inexpensive veteran free agent to start the first game. Look for Manning to get his shot by mid-season, not that I agree with that, but it looks like the case. Tom Caughlin is a conservative coach who will figure out a way to test Manning without getting him hurt. Expect the burden to fall on the Giant defense more than ever this year.

Obviously its on account of the cap hit, but giving up draft picks that will likely be very high ones, the whole plan doesn`t seem to have been very well thought out....they gave up more than they had to, and now they will take two Giant steps back before moving forward...if Manning is as good as Ernie thinks....

Hey Rob, you know a few well known posters around here actually think Vick is overrated and won`t amount to much lol? I had this debate last season Rob... Vick will be sensational!

Vick is a marked man because of his spectacular runs. As long as he keeps trying to win games singlehandedly with his legs, he will be much more susceptible to serious injury than pocket QBs like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.

Not a rookie of course, but I expect Shaun King to win the starting position and make some waves in Arizona...........
