Not being an avid hockey follower, but a fan of the game, I wonder if some successful hockey bettors can share some good tips when it comes to hockey betting.

Thanks for any info.

I know people don't like paying for picks, and he has had a bad season this year but historically, he has been great. I am talking about some guy named SKEETER. I THINK the website is www.skeetershockey.com
Sorry, that's all I can come up w/

That guy Skeeter, used to post under some other nickname at Wagertrash six years ago, or had his plays posted by someone, amongst other sites, he was great, I seem to remember him from being out of Ohio?

Also Ben Burns was stout, but has been off his game the last few years, and Tom Freese can get hot as far as touts go.

Best strategy is to just take it easy and put in some small bets for fun. Playoffs are too short to count on a winning season for anyone because hockey is a very luck-driven sport for both sides and totals. You can be on the right path and be in a situation where if you play it 3 or 4 years you will be a winner, but in a short season like this you can easily come out a loser because of luck. When so many games are likely one goal games (or two with empty netters) and totals so often fall right near the posted total, even winning strategies can easily have bad years.

Home teams usually win games 2 and 5 , I know that much.

Sometimes you have to get inside the minds of the teams. Like game 2 Det-Cal (I wouldnt lay the wood or ever bet on Joseph, but) Detroit facing going down 0-2 and then heading on the road should come out with its top effort. Calgary while they will not say it ,if they get down early may figure "we got our win and lets go home tied".

I bet with both hands and feet every hockey playoffs, my freind who doesnt gamble, but plays and knows who the winners are is the best ive seen in any sport.

He says Detroit is a complete fraud with russian cowards. He also said Col goalie is a joke, SJose has the best goalie left. He said Karyia is very overrated, and Selanne is the biggest coward in hockey, Col is banged up. He correctly picked Philly over Jersey saying Jersey wanted ZERO part of the grueling 3 months it would take, and would give a half ass effort. His picks are JOSE -123 currently in the series and Calgary +185 currently. He had them before and is telling me to press on the 2 teams up 1-0. This guy has made me a kings ransom over the last 10 years. We rode the Ducks and Jersey last year. We went 6-2 in the 1st rnd series, winning on Calagary but losing on Boston.

Im a Devs fan and was not confident this year. I usually do well in rounds 2 & 4 and 1 and 3 I usually struggle (except for last year

).

To me the wings are just the same team as last year except a year older. Curtis Joseph is a stiff. The west is full of the public teams and thankfully 2 of them are still around to bet against.

Gotta love the guys who say that Devils gave a "half ass effort".
Hall of Fame captain is out, coach has cancer, various other injuries and that is a poor effort? They did not play that badly for the series, go back and watch the tapes of the 1st two games...
Maybe post your brilliant picks BEFORE the series concludes...
I am positive you had the Ducks playing NJ before the playoffs last year?????????????
Next you will tell us to bet the Yankees in the 2003 WS. Oh, that already happened..

There was nothing wrong with the Devils effort. they didn't have enough size to keep Philly away from the front of their net all series. I have never seen them give up more goals on rebounds and by not picking up the late man coming into the zone.

Home teams 4-0 in game 2

Last round all 5 teams that went home down 0-2 won game 3. Last 5 seasons in round 2 teams going home down 0-2 are 6-1

colorado is laying 2-1 odds though but i guess this is their last stand so they should come out and take care of things in game 3....i have SJ in the series so i guess even if i lose this game 3 the 3-0 lead with a series bet makes up for it.
