He was an All-Star the first half of the season. I never got to see him pitch.

I've seen him a few times in the second half, he's looked like the 10th man for the opponent.

The league got to see him a few times. Plus, I don't think he's ready for the pressure of play-off baseball. Today was a tough spot for a 21 year old.

It was a tough spot for any pitcher, down 2-1 and in "must-win" game.

To hear sports talk radio & sports shows- Dontrell had youthful Clemens-like stuff.

I haven't seen anything from Willis except Giants & Cubs crossing home plate.

He is the next Dwight Gooden. He even reminds me of Gooden when I look at him. He will be a decent pitcher for 2-3 years but then will fall TOTALLY off the radar

2-3 yrs? mid may to july may have done it for him.lol.

way too overhyped. rookie of the year, blah blah blah. Meanwhile, Brandon Webb of the Dbacks has been BY FAR the best of the rookie class, let alone one of the best in the league.

Reminds me of Nomo when he came up for the Dodgers. Unique delivery but then hitters catch up after they see him a few times. After initial success, Nomo had a hard time and in last few years has adjusted enough to be a good pitcher.

I think Willis could have the same kind of career.
